Our Story

TLC Holdings Limited was incorporated on the 24th March, 2014 at Lae City, Morobe Province and registered under IPA Papua New Guinea in compliance with all corporate laws prescribed within the country.

Its creation was a brainchild of Ms Cherry Gacayan, who have been involved in different companies in PNG – mainly with forklift related businesses. After few years of being an employee, she saw promising opportunities of starting a business of her own, to emulate and improve on best practices, and to craft her own touch to pursue further.

Our Growth Journey

At its inception, TLC caters trading activities of industrial packaging and wooden pallets. By year 2016, the company slowly transitioned to repair and maintenance services starting with light vehicles and 3-ton forklifts.

Forklift rentals evolved into long-term leasing contracts with Coca-cola EuroPacific Partners as main customer, leasing more than 20 electric forklifts. The company also supports Repair & Maintenance program of Associated Mills Ltd. known as Goodman Fielders for their heavy equipment.

The quality of works continuously serve the customers' needs that the growth also extends opening its Pom NCD branch on year 2019.

Current Operations

The company now employs eight Filipino expatriates – qualified mechanics with extensive experiences, and more than 20 National staff in its repair and maintenance activities.

TLC has established its own workshop for machining job, crimping and fabrication of hydraulic hose to complete its "all-in-one" forklift sales, hire, and services.

As an authorised dealer of Heli Forklifts and genuine spare parts, TLC has secured certification from Road Traffic Authority PNG to conduct forklift sales distribution business in PNG.
